​Dame Phyllis Frost Centre is a maximum-security women’s prison located 25km west of Melbourne. The Expansion of the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre delivered 106 new beds, allowing older accommodation to be decommissioned, and created a new reception centre, new multipurpose building, and an expanded legal and telecourt facility. The new buildings were designed to increase access and engagement with rehabilitation programs for inmates.
