Project Name: ANZAC Hall
Location: Canberra, ACT GFA: 4,000sqm Year Completed: 2023 Opened in 1941, the Australian War Memorial (AWM) is a building of national significance. Bringing together a world-class museum, a shrine and an extensive archive, it tells the stories of men and women who have served, and continue to serve our nation in war, conflict and operations. The New Anzac Hall provides an additional 4,000m² of gallery space with the construction of a new two-storey building. It will display exhibitions and house artefacts from the Australian War Memorial’s National Collection that currently cannot be put on displayed for the public. |
